Appliances, cleaning equipment, linen and waste-management products.
The range above is an indicative planning figure taken from our own research, not a quotation and not an offer. buytogethr is pre-launch and has closed no pools.
This is a mixed basket rather than one machine: washer-extractors and dryers for the laundry, water heaters and water coolers with purification, mess and pantry equipment, and the housekeeping side of scrubber-driers, wet-and-dry vacuums, pressure washers, trolleys and segregated waste bins. The decisive variable is duty class. Domestic-grade appliances and commercial-duty machines look similar on a comparison sheet and are not the same purchase when a machine runs several cycles a day, every day of term. Sizing is the second variable, and it depends on residents per block and hot-water availability, not on catalogue capacity. Buyers commonly omit consumables and staff training, then find equipment standing idle for want of the right chemical or pad.
This basket pools in two halves, and it is worth saying so. Bins, trolleys, vacuums and water coolers are identical across every campus and pool cleanly on specification alone. Laundry and mess equipment must be sized to the block, so a pool there works as an agreed rate schedule across a range of capacities rather than one common model. On both halves the real prize is not the machine price. It is holding consumable and spare prices for the contract period and buying a common service-response commitment, which a single college ordering a handful of machines has no standing to ask for.
